Welcome to Telemark Heritage.
Telemark County Council took the initiative to establish Telemark Heritage on the web in 2002. The vision of "Telemark Heritage" is through use of the internet to establish and maintain contact with the descendants of Telemark emigrants.
"Telemark Heritage" contains some news, some events, well above 2.000 pictures, a numbers of interesting links, more spesific information about the municipalities in Telemark, etc. You are also welcome to send us comments, and information about links that we should include.
Skien Municipality is responsible for "Telemark Heritage". Hermod. H. Monsen (hhmonsen@online.no) is responsible for the content of the web-pages.

We have now completed the picture gallery on IMAGES Minot 2009. Take a look if you want to see what it was like, the fantastic 2 weeks in MN and ND. In our web you will also find a lot of old pictures from Norway outside Telemark.
We met so many people, we found Lake Ibsen and two Ibsen busts, and Tarjei from Morgedal made skis the old way at our booth at Norsk Høstfest. And we went to find where Sondre Norheim used to live.
